Boy is getting bigger

My son is getting a lot older and more sophisticated. I don't think that we would have the convos that we do, should this be untrue. He told me when he was drawing yesterday that blood was "beautiful," and "cool." I think those assertions made me realize more than anything that he is a boy. A big and wonderful boy complete with very male personality characteristics.

When you're four, you can also eat a lot, which is sometimes frightening. We went out for supper last night, as I had an appointment after work, and he ate an entire large cheeseburger, a glass of chocolate milk, and a watermelon wedge. In addition to some fries, which he NEVER eats. Charming the socks of the waitress, she comped the seasoning salt, so that we can make these types of seasoned fries at home.

He got up a bit ago, and is already talking my ear off. I love his warmth when he cuddles in my arms in the morning. For a variety of reasons, I am already in trouble!
